Standard first aid and basic life support training is a four-day (32-hour) training course designed for participants of medium and high-risk establishments with ten (10) to fifty (50) workers and low, medium, and high-risk establishments with fifty-one (51) and above workers. Participants will be able to respond to specific medical emergency situations before medical professionals can intervene. Delivered in a traditional in-person classroom setting which combines lecture and hands-on skills sessions. This course also covers manually administering cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and using automated external defibrillator (AED).
